it is a sensory device used to detect the presence and magnitude of the magnetic field.
the name is given after the discovery of the “hall effect” done by American scientist Mr. Edwin hall.
it is like a binary switch that detects the presence of a magnetic field and produces a binary signal (1, 0),
the voltage is either high (~5V) or low (OV) depending on the type of the sensor. it specifically only react to a pole of the magnet.
also, read how the hall sensor works?
they are widely used in the bldc electric motors to detect the position of permanent magnets and provide necessary output signals to the driver system.
you can find them in the application of speed detection, proximity sensing, positioning, and current sensing.
it has three pins input, ground, and output.
