add here text basic how does a hub motor work? pratik r. sonawane april 23, 2021 related topics how to check, bldc motor hall sensor is working or not? how to check, the ebike controller is working or not? how does a hall effect sensor work? can a one-speed controller run two hub Motors? what are the best tips for buying an electric bike? also read: what is a hub motor? the hub motors belong to the family of dc motors. they do not have any commutator and brush mechanism to produce excitation in windings. in a hub motor, the stator is a stationary part that has a core and slots where the copper windings are incorporated on slots. most of the hub motors have trapezoidal winding. the commutation of these winding is done by an external driver circuit. which is supply a dc pulse to stator winding so it can magnetize each slot at a particular time. the inner periphery of the rotor has “N” numbers of magnets or permanent magnets arranged in alternate magnetic fields (n-s-n-s….). hub motors follow the same principle of electromagnetism as an induction motor. in simple words, attraction-repulsion happens between electromagnets and permanent magnets. working : please refer to the following animated video to understand. dismental hub motor article by author name Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
